Team Descriptions:
IMPACT:
This team is about reaching children and youth with Jesus’ love in a fun and exciting way. This team is responsible for the coordination and execution of Sonshine Church’s Children’s Ministry, including the upkeep of the curriculum, teaching, and maintaining positive and FUN relationships with our children.
Serve:
This team supports the ministry time by creating life changing experiences wherever someone will encounter Sonshine Church. The heart of Sonshine Church is service! This team is responsible for ensuring all guests are served with excellence from the time they pull into our parking lot. This team leads parking, greeting, and assists with setup/teardown.
Hospitality:
Some of life’s biggest decisions are celebrated with a meal i.e. a wedding, graduation, etc. We want to create an experience where people can come and celebrate the life that God has blessed us with. Much like our Serve team, the heart of Hospitality is excellent service. Hospitality is so important to the heart of our mission, and sharing food together in community is such an impactful experience. The team is responsible for planning, ordering, preparing and serving food every week.
Special Ops:
Can you remember the first time you experienced a live concert, or heard a someone speak that truly challenged you to change? We want to create an experience that meets people with truth that is practical and challenging. Operation and Administration of the Sonshine Church. This team is responsible for the execution of the weekly Saturday service including worship, speaking, and group discussions.
Connections:
The quality of our relationships can dictate the quality of our life. This team seeks to create connection opportunities where people can engage in life changing providential relationships. GO. GIVE. GET INVOLVED. Community is vital! This team is responsible for connecting all guests at Sonshine Church to the Camp Sonshine family, and to one another through volunteer options, connections events and outreach opportunities.
